out of german usage with some joke inside you are what you eat 

 

 

in german ''Du bist was du isst'' how it sounds same there:

 

 

are and eat.  

 

in that context this example seems maybe just a wordplay but for me  it points out a kind of a philosophy. what you see, interract, you eat, drink is just what makes you you like a sum of the environment so the things in your plate is not just in your plate they are your history and your future like your moment of life you are living in
